Hannah was dedicated at our church(www.radiuschurch.org) on Sunday. We were lucky enough to have both of our parents, Uncle Wes and Grandma Lyle join us for the big day. Here are a few pictures courtesy of Gigi!

Meetin' up.
So I decided to look into the Meet up Groups online to see if I can find some other Stay at Home moms downtown to hang out with. I figured I'd try it out and see if I like it. Anyway, once you join meetup.com and tell them what city you are in, they suggest other meet up groups to join. Here were a few of my favorite options. (note: these are actual groups in the Columbia area, I did not make them up).
- Bearded Dragon Meet up Group- for dragon lovers, pet owners of lizards and breeders. Please tell me that you don't actually bring your bearded dragon to this group. Do they run around and play like dogs? Or do you just sit around and talk about your little scaly friend and all of the funny thing he does?
- Paranormal Romance Fans of Lexington- Is this like ghost pornography? I didn't know such thing existed nor am I a fan. And where do you meet to talk about this topic anyway?
- Southern Pride Bikers- Not surprised. We are in the south.
- Columbia Dungeons & Dragons/ Superhero Meet up Group- The description for this involved "roleplaying". Yikes! Again, where do these folks meet? I can't say I've ever walked into Starbucks and seen a group of people dressed like Medieval Warriors, Spiderman and the Hulk. I have seen some weird people at Starbucks, but never that!
Those are some of the best... I'll let you know which ones I decide to join:) And for those of you who just read through this entire post waiting to see pictures of Hannah... I'm working on it:)

My Church Band Rocks!
If you have a second please go to www.wmhk.com and click on the "My Church Band Rocks" contest and vote for Radius Church. This is the awesome band that plays at my church. Jeremiah, the lead singer, sang at our wedding and he was one of Todd's groomsmen. Please just take a second and vote because Radius definitely deserves to win!

Happy 4th
Todd, Hannah and I met some friends at the Gilbert Peach Festival (only in the south..) on the 4th of July. It was really fun and we had some great peach ice cream. I brought the camera to take some good pictures but unfortunately after just a few the battery went dead. This of course gave Todd the perfect opportunity to say, "I told you so". As you can see from the few pictures we did take, Hannah had a great time.

Get to know me!
Hey all! It's Hannah filling in for Mom again. She's busy clipping coupons! Don't worry though, she's right here watching me to make sure that I don't visit any websites that are not baby friendly. So I was checking email the other day (sidebar: yes, I have email. My address is lylebaby@gmail.com. Try it... I'm serious)... anyway, I was checking my email and I had one of those "Get to know you" questions quizzes forwarded to me from one of my little buddies. I thought that instead of filling all of your inboxes with silly forwards, I would just post my answers on this blog.
Name: Hannah
Birthday: December 9th
Education: I was schooled on the street. Ok, I was trying to sound tough but the truth is that I'm just figuring things out like that my feet belong to me and that I can cry and get whatever I want.
Occupation: Stay-at-home baby
Hobbies: Eating, playing on my tummy, putting things in my mouth
Favorite Music: Mom's singing (she told me to type that... Dad is a much better singer)
Favorite Food: Breastmilk, Oat Cereal, Sweet Potatoes
Least Favorite Food: Rice Cereal, Bananas
Favorite TV Show: Is that the big black box on the wall?
Favorite Book: "What's wrong Little Pookie"- great book, you should check it out
Likes: Playing peek-a-boo, chewing on my feet, going for walks, anything that Lilly does, orajel, shopping (mom made me type that too)
Dislikes: Napping, teething, seeing the bottle before I can drink the bottle, being in the gym nursery for more than 20 minutes (40 minutes at church)
That's all for now... Mom says that my internet time is up. Email me and we'll catch up!
